Having worked mainly with digital media, this new series of work sees Christophe returning to traditional picture-making techniques, often using lo-fi cameras and outdated film. The inherent frailty of this equipment is transferred to the photographs, which are often blurred, scratched and saturated. It is the mood, rather than the immediate representation of the subject that forms this body of work. These photographs include experimental works involving multiple exposure and film techniques.

You may have noticed I recently featured an image by Christophe Dillinger.  Last night Christophe contacted me to tell me about a solo exhibition he’s put together for next year and I thought you should all know! It runs between Friday 28th March - Sunday 4th May 2008, at the Ludlow Assembly Rooms in Shropshire. More details after the jump.
