Welcome!
Hello there froglets. Come in, take off your shoes and put your feet up! This is the new blog to accompany the main site at squarefrog.co.uk. So what can you expect from this blog? Well initially there’ll be some reviews of various Holga accessories. But over time I hope to bring you news, interviews and featured galleries from around the world.
I also want to bring you exciting news regarding products and services not specifically designed for the Holga, but are relevant still. Admittedly, the focus will still be on more Holga related loveliness.
I had a whole sack-full of comments to wade through after the recent competition, and I thought I’d respond to a couple of popular ones here. It seems a lot of people want a large gallery of example images on the site. However, I don’t really have the time and bandwidth to devote to something so massive, but what I did do is set up the squarefrography Flickr group. If you don’t already have a Flickr account, I wholly recommend that you get one. It doesn’t cost anything and it is a place to display your photos to the whole world! Once you’ve got your account, join squarefrography and post your images. You are allowed to post up to 3 images a day, and the most recent additions are shown at the top of squarefrog.co.uk for the whole world to see!
The next most popular suggestion was more regular updates. This is something I want to do, but I’m simply unable to go much faster. I’ll let you into a little secret - there’s actually only 1 person running squarefrog.co.uk - myself. I have a full time job as well so I can only really update in my spare time. So why am I telling you this? Well I’m hoping you take pity on me and send me your money suggestions for new articles, links, reviews, anything that is Holga related!
Anyway - if you have something you’ll like to show the world via this blog, contact me by leaving me a comment, or sending me an email, and I’ll see what I can do!
